On 1 October 2021, FSC published a new version of the trademark standard FSC-STD-50-001 V2-1. The standard will became effective on January 1, 2022 with a transition period of 2.5 years and introduces a new MIX label.
FSC International acknowledges the practical concerns related to the change of the FSC MIX label and would like to provide certificate holders with the flexibility to use the new and the old FSC MIX label during the transition period. Between January 1, 2022 and June 30, 2024 certificate holders that transition to FSC-STD-50-001 V2-1 and use the new FSC MIX label are allowed to continue using the old FSC MIX label. Starting with January 1, 2022, both labels will be available via the FSC Trademark Portal.
The derogation is valid from January 1, 2022 until June 30, 2024 and is applicable to all certificate holders and can be viewed here.
