MADISON – The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) has entered an agreement to provide ND Paper with $1.7 million in tax credits over three years to support the company’s expansion at its Biron division—a project expected to create 27 new jobs.

 Investment will help develop innovative pulp and paper products and usage while creating and maintaining 743 jobs in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Brompton, Quebec

The mill in Corner Brook is set to receive almost $14 million in upgrades, with the aim to become more energy efficient and environmentally-friendly, and cut the facility's carbon footprint by 50 per cent.
